Meal trains & care

Everyone's asking “what can I do?” Give them a night.

Set up a meal train in a few minutes. Friends pick a night to bring dinner, drive to an appointment, or pick up groceries, and the family doesn't have to answer a single text.

You just need an email address. Your guests need nothing at all.

How it works

  1. 1
    Pick the days

Every night for two weeks, or just Mon, Wed, and Fri. Add food notes and a drop-off window.

  2. 2
    Share one link

Text it, email it, or print a sign-up sheet with a QR code for the bulletin board.

  3. 3
    Friends claim a night

They see what's covered and pick an open day. No app, no account.

More ways to help

Each one comes with a schedule or sign-up list you can change.

Questions people ask first

Do helpers need an app or an account?

No. They tap the link, type their name, and pick an answer or something to bring. If they want reminders, they can add an email. That's optional.

Who sees the family's address?

Only people who sign up to help, unless you choose to show it to everyone with the link. Helpers see first names by default, and nobody needs to share medical details.

How long can a meal train run?

Up to 120 days at a time. Pick which weekdays get a slot, and add or remove dates later.

Can people sign up for rides or groceries instead?

Yes. Add rides, grocery runs, errands, or childcare next to the meals, or start from a ride or grocery schedule instead.

What do I need?

You just need an email address. Your guests need nothing at all.

Is it really free?

Yes. There's nothing to buy, there are no ads, and nobody's information is for sale. BroThrow runs on one small server and costs very little to keep going.

Someone's going to bring the soup.
Let them know it's needed.

Free. Helpers never sign up.
